My condolences, prayers and support to the family, friends and all those affected by the tragic events in Orlando yesterday. Please know that prayers are lifted up for peace and love at this horrific time.

I direct my attention to my Christian community leaders throughout the United States.

Please consult the Bible and I am sure you will find that this is a time for showing compassion, love, support and solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Orlando.

You, the Christian leadership, are my representative, and therefore it is my duty to let you know where I stand on this in the hopes that you would choose to represent me, a follower of Christ.

It is not too late to issue statements of prayer, love, encouragement and solidarity to our brothers and sisters and their families affected by this violent act.

Act now, please, and do not let your inaction speak louder than your words.
